I logged on today for the first time in a long time. I want to know why this stat happened... the most visitors to our site ever happened on 7/20/11 for 1108. That is a pretty high number for being 10 years after the movie came out...

You cannot imagine how pleasantly surprised I was to find that the MR forum still exists. I was a regular back in 2002, when I was 15! RHPS Magenta and bubblebobblegirl - I remember you! I've been looking at some of my old posts in the archives, and I can't believe how annoying I sounded! Sorry about that.

Anyway, I went home for Thanksgiving this past weekend, and my parents, my brother, and I were trying to think of a movie to watch. We flipped through the channels, and guess what just so happened to be on? None of us had seen Moulin Rouge for years, so we watched it and our love for the film was rekindled. I remembered vividly why this movie changed my life and why it remains my favorite movie after all this time. I fell in love with Christian and Satine all over again, and with the primary message of the film: "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return."...

So, Toy Story 3 should win best picture. I remember liking the first 2-- A LOT-- but this one left me slightly hysterical. Like, my spouse had fallen asleep and woke up at the end and he asked me how it was and I started giggling and tearing up like a maniac.

Did anyone else see this? The final sequence is an absolute HEART BREAKER, but the incinerator scene that REALLY goes for the emotional jugular?!?? OMG?

And the laughs are really damn hearty. Like, Barbie and Ken. OMG! And the scary baby?!?!?!?

Can't believe I managed to find this forum again! And log in under my oh so mature username! Haha. I joined this forum when I was, I guess, 12? Now 21. Nice to recognise a lot of the same names still on here. Only person I've kept in touch with was melakathemeems. Still not met Ewan, just don't tell my inner 12 year old that, she'd be well gutted! Still living in Scotland. Again, inner child would be gutted! Based in Dundee at the moment, or as I should say, half an hour from Crieff. Depending on how fast you're driving! Hah.

Well just popping in to say props to you lot for keeping this place alive and being hardcore fans. I still have my ewan sisterhood coaster!! Hehe.

I have been trying to cut back on my magazines and I have several Ewan Cover stories and Ewan mentions. If anybody is interested, I'll post the titles and covers of the magazines. It might take me awhile, but I already have quite a few set aside to move out of my collection. (I have some Nic mags too and Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenthal too, and one of Clay Aiken (Rolling Stone).

I would rather send these to a good home than to the recycling bin. They are free of charge, but if you can cover shipping cost, that would be amazing.

All of the items were purchased in book stores or newstands with the exception of the Star Wars advert and Star Wars fold sheet with Trading card (I pulled the first out of a magazine and the other was given to me by my brother). All but the trading card sheet and the 1st Details would be in Very Good to Good condition. The cover of the details mag has a puncture mark in the cover. The trading Card sheet has a lot of wear with some damage...
