Yeah that's me...I keep forgetting that I do not have the same name on both places (Im usually rougevelvet at boards, tis just I made this username RHPS
Magenta for the MR board like 7 years ago now, so ...)

Hi everyone! So I've been browsing through the boards for about a week now and thought I might as well join because I can't keep my mouth shut about
this film! I've seen it three times in theaters now since it has come out in the US and I swear that when I am not watching this movie, I'm thinking
about the next time I'm going to see it. I think this movie is perfect because it deals with everything anyone wants to see in a movie. Not to mention the
cinematography is beautiful and the acting is totally topnotch. I was excited for this film originally just because I am a huge Nicole Kidman fan. Even though
I had of course seen and loved Moulin Rouge!, I never fully appreciated Baz's work until Australia. His ideas are so romantic and so cinematically perfect.
Nicole was beautiful in this movie and perfect for the part. Hugh Jackman was excellent as Drover, hopefully those Academy bastards will give him an Oscar nom!
And not to mention I have never seen Hugh look hotter. Good, god-- I really must get the new People Magazine with him on the cover! Also I fell in love with
Brandon, the boy who played Nullah. He was absolutely adorable. The movie deals with all these important issues, but it's really about learning to love. To
let yourself love, actually. I can't get enough of this movie!
By the way, this forum looks excellent. I am really enjoying all of the pictures, videos, etc. and the fan art! There are some great artists here.

Hi! Some of you members who've been here for a really long time may remember me, but for those who don't, I'm Jasmine.
Seen the film now, and I just devoured every minute of it. I've been away from the board recently, been very busy, and honestly I still am. But after witnessing the stunning, beautifu, heart-wrenching, pure magic that is Australia, I couldn't resist coming back. I hope no one minds.

hey all!
My name is Brooke... and I'm actually from the lovely land of Aus...I don't live in Darwin though, I'm from beautiful Sydney :P I've always been a Baz fan, and I admit to a passionate and totally one sided love affair with Hugh, and I'm a fan of Nicole as well... but this movie made me so proud to be Australian (more so than I am already) and I may or may not have decided to move to the Northern Territory and drove cattle :D
