Kate doll, the Sequel to Another Gay Movie...
La speechlessness. T seemed to enjoy it, I was practically screaming in pain. Also, google the fine film "Open Cam." And "Prayers for Bobby" is a new TV movie with Sigourney Weaver. Based on true story, pretty much average TV fare that suddenly WRENCHES THE TEARS OUT OF YOU IN THE LAST TEN MINUTES.

I was reading on some gaytimetv blog about that Prayers for Bobby. Seemed like it might bore me a little, but I only skimmed.
I've been watching this HOT German TV soap with these adorable gay characters. I've also been watching As The World Turns, the US soap on youtube and watching a few years of back history of their two gay characters Luke and Noah, so adorable but so censored a lot of the time. Still the writers finally let them make whoppee the other week, right there on USA daytime tv, go figure!

Ok Wow I haven't been here in AAAAAAGGGGEEESSSS. HI!!! But I watched a movie tonight with some friends and knew you guys would be people I could talk about
it with.
We watched the documentary For the Bible Tells Me So and I just want to make all my Mormon friends watch it. I just loved everything about it. And I learned a lot that I DIDNT EVEN KNOW. Seriously I think everyone should be like forced to watch it. I just...kadkjfkadf. ~*Kris*~

I was going to download that for my iPod recently, I ended up just getting JesusCamp for the timebeing which is distressing enough to watch :fear
Thanks for the reminder, I might see if I can get a copy of the film after all. Though these things tend to make me just want to throw stuff and then get all angry followed by sad lol

I've just started watching Rick and Steve (I know, Im slow, lol) and last night I downloaded Holding Trevor, which well, it's a lil independent thing I dont know that it will be the best thing ever but Jay is in it so I had to seeee! Interesting films that darkened my door step via Netflix recently....
-The Gay Bed and Breakfast of Terror -The House of Adam WATCH HOUSE OF ADAM. It is THE most OFFENSIVE, RIDICULOUS, and HILARIOUS movie I had ever seen. Whenever you think it can't get worse, or offend more people, it does. It's like a gay(er) Crash, but without the strong acting. And WORSE. Do not be fooled by the synopsis. A character wants to become a police detective (with no prior experience) so HE ENROLLS IN DETECTIVE SCHOOL. Which he finishes in 4 months.

I have just obtained a film called Shelter which I hear is nice. and recently watched Holding Trevor which was again 'nice' enough. Still crushing on Verbotene Liebe the german TV soap with a wonderful gay storyline, omg, they have a normal life, with normal jobs?! le gasp!

Katie, just added Shelter to my Netflix que and moved it to number one. On their way we have some gay Prom Queen movie... and something I think about Jane
Austen. Lost in Austen. Woman falls into an Austen novel, hilarity ensues.
There is a little bit of gayness in it, but we watched Phoebe in Wonderland with Patricia Clarkson the other night, and I ADORED it. Also, Locked Up came the other night from Netflix. It sucked so bad, I said to T, "This is worse than porn." I was wrong, some google searching about the movie afterward revealed that the film is A GERMAN PORNO FILM WITH THE HARDCORE SEX SCENES CUT OUT IN AN ATTEMPT TO MAKE A MOVIE. Also, did I ever discuss Latter Days? Watched it a while back, and it's totally a favorite movie ever of mine.

I heard about this List in Austen thing, though I thought it was a tv series for some reason... Im still totally giggling that they actually tried to make a porno into a legit film AND that you called it FTW lol
Latter days, maaaaaaan, I have it here, a friend gave it to me on CD like a year or more, I hear REALLY good things and TOTALLLY need to get my arse into gear to watch it.

Watched Shelter last night- TOTALLY AWESOME. That is a phenomenal gay film. In a world filled with crap gay films, it's a cliche but it's a gust of
fresh, clean, real air. The characters and drama were realistic and compelling and you felt for them. Plus, that scene when they first have sex is RIDICULOUSLY
HOT.
However, I need the soundtrack now. Can you advise? Also, I hope you enjoy Latter Days. It was all too often painfully real for me, but I realized just now that Shelter and LD are the only two good gay films I've seen in the last few years (aside from Milk or Brokeback), and they are both exemplary.
