So while my myspace page states that I'm willing to talk to complete strangers, I'm still a little leary of that because I don't want some perv talking to me. I was sending messages for awhile back and forth with some guy that found me on there but he hasn't written in something like a week and I'm not desperate (even though I kinda am). Also I am addicted to the little green space applet on Facebook, amoung other things. I just found a girl the other night that I was in girl scouts with in the 6th grade, and another that I road the bus with in the same year. Tell me what you guys think. Do you use myspace/facebook. Also, not that I like to disclose it to RL friends but my LJ caters for my online fandom and friend interaction. For RL friends, well, I use face to face contact (shock horror) mobile phone texting or even old fasioned email I do feel a bit of an old biddy at times, email being akin to snail mail nowadays with such concepts as Facebook etc. Jessica (bohemianchick) is trying to get me on facebook, along with a massive list of other people. But at the end of the day, I dont need the drama or social obligations that come with it. I, I mean he, hasn't used his MySpace account in a long time though. Also, HOW CAN YOU GUYS NOT HAVE FACEBOOK. My right arm, I mean FB, is essential for living. Pre-FB, I thought it was stupid, but one time when I had to get a crowd in two days for a Bill Clinton rally, I got on it, AND HAVE NOT GOTTEN OFF OF IT SINCE. It's essential for political organizing and such, and also for keeping in touch with people?!!?! I am going to start one of those obnoxious "People Who Think Kate Should Get on Facebook" groups on FB.
