As for me, well I have noooo, singing ability, so we won't even go there!

Now as for acting, I absolutely LOVE it to bits, and right now am really missing it!
I haven't done anything major as for me it is a passion, but not a career interest. I just figure, I love doing it and that's enough, but I could never make a living from it, I suck too much...and besides lawyers are actors too

Let's see in primary school I did the drama school thing at this local place, that was kinda fun, and we too did a little performance for the parents at the end of each year. Interweaved with my love for acting is my love for music, however, whilst the high school asked me to take it as a class, I decided not to, and took external classes for piano...however still suck ass!

Anyway back to acting, most of my stuff has been through high school I have done a billion and one plays etc ranging from Alice and Wonderland, to some obscure nothing plays and then my favourite was "Cos" the play I did before graduating.
'Cos' is based on an Australian movie (which stars Moulin Rouge's Audrey AKA David Whenam and Toni Collette, from Sixth Sense). Anywho so in this play I was an obsessive mental patient (I know, not a far stretch, method acting was handy! ) and I had to wear the ugliest things imaginable and do the most embarrassing things...and I LOVED IT! Incidentally, we were doing a play with in a play and the play within was a musical/opera.
I had to wear bight non-matching clothes (AND PINK...sorry but I never usually go there!) and ugh, it was horrendous, but sooo funny.
For the finale, I wear a tutu, Doc Martins, a black top, a masquerade mask, and had to dip this guy and "pash" him and then swing him to stand up right. LOL! *sigh* those were the days! However even though I have the video of the production, I can't bring myself to watch it *cringe*
As a result I somehow managed to get the Valedictory (Graduation), Subject prize for drama in 2000...I was soo happy! ...but when I opened the letter I said to my mother, they must have sent it to the wrong person...yeah, I'm soooo self confident!

Also through stagecraft, this course that teaches you how to rig lighting and design sets etc I got to be in a tv commercial for like the Australian Education Union. It was a non-speaking part and I'm in it for only like 5 secs, but hey, it was fun for me

Moving along, just prior to valedictory I made the trek interstate with a friend to be an extra in 'Queen of the Damned'. However, whilst I made it into press pics (whoo!) when I watched it at the movies...no sight of me
However, I'm not ruling out all hope, I'm waiting for the DVD so I can do slow mo and zoom (heh heh heh) and also I may be in the behind the scenes footage...cos I wasn't far from Aaliyah!

Again moving along to slightly more recent times, Rocky Horror is my main acting these days and it has been months since the last show, ugh, I'm having withdrawals!
Pretty much my friends and I have loved the movie for yeaaaaars and in Adelaide they were previously only screening it at theatres once a year, so we would go along fully dressed up and do the participation thing.
Anywho, finally late last year this retro cinema with this cool stage in front of the screen and organ on hydraulics that comes from underneath had a season (5 wks) of Rocky!
So being the obsessed little people we are, we went along dressed up and when the manager asked for volunteers to perform to the Time Warp, we leapt at the chance!
We danced and had fun, threw things, sung along, and got the crowd into it.
The manager loved us, dubbed us 'The Nymphettes' and asked us to come back and do the shows for the rest of the season
Since then we have been asked to perform in Brisbane (another state), and this American Rocky Magazine has done two articles on us.
I'm in the process of getting a better costume and were gonna try to make a decent show this year...and yes I'm aware Rocky Horror is a musical, but shaddow acting, thank Baz, doesn't require singing!
Also one day I'd love to get the theatre to make Rocky and MR a double participation feature using my new MR participation script, but I doubt that would happen.

So, I really shouldn't have written this offline cos you just got my whole life story! LOL!

Also I'm kicking myself for not going to see Caroline O'Connor in the Aussie version of CHICAGO, when I had the chance a few years ago! Grr!
Oh, South Park the movie was a musical...
And then theres all the singing junk I watched as a kid... "The Forest of feelings, Carealot..." -Carebears, I still have that on video!
Oh, how could I forget Les Mis!
Oh, oh and GREASE..LOL, k, so maybe I have a few

I hate a lot of them though, they just make me sick, like The Sound of Music, I hadn't watched that until last year when I was raped of my Sound of Muisc virginity, by literally being held down on a chair whilst my friends proceeded to show the bulk of the movie Also, I can't stand Annie even though my darling Tim Curry is in it
