Well, I think that explains itself. So, what's everyone going to be this year?
I WAS going to be Marilyn Monroe, but one of my friends wanted to do that, and she asked if I could come up with something else. So...I'm thinking either Magenta or Columbia, and everyone knows what they're from! I was thinking about being Satine, and even had a costume planned, but my parents said no. I think in the end, I'll end up as Magenta, which isn't a bad deal, right?

Your mom sounds a little like mine, Caroline. When I told her how excited I was to see MR (way back before it was in theaters), she was like, "That's the movie with the prostitute, right? She's a hooker." I don't think I'm dressing up for Halloween...I haven't for a few years because my parents think I'm too old to t-or-t. (waits for gasps of horror) I know. Anyway, I think one of my friends is going to be a can-can girl, so I may help her with her costume.
(and it was even her idea, not mine!) But I don't really know where we would get the costumes. And it might be kinda hard to find any that weren't too expensive. Hmm...
I can't dress up as Magenta, cos it is no loger really a costume for me, and thus just evokes eye rolls from friends as being non original, I guess it's like wearing your work clothes, lol, though its not like we have performed in aaaaaages.
If I do go, maybe I'll be someone like Princess Leia! Heehee!!
