Well hello there - I am Anne - I saw Hugh first on the London Stage - he was awesome. I am certainly looking forward to Australia and hope it is a particularly good film for Hugh - he certainly looks great - when was he ever not

Hi my name is Audrey and I'm from Seattle. I am just so anxious to see this movie, it looks like it's going to be really good. I'm a Hugh Jackman fan and I think he's just a really great actor. Does anyone know why the Australia Footage pictures were taken off on the australiamovie.net site? They were on for awhile then taken off
I was surprise there wasnt a message on why they were taken off.

As for the images, I didn't feel it was necessary to mention that the caps were ever on the site otherwise it would just make people more curious, ya know? Better to be as if they were never there. And as always, extra information that is not on the site can usually be found on this lufferly forum. I want to see Australia because I love Baz's movie! And of course I love Hugh  and Nicole too!
Well in the film there's Daisy too... (David Whenam! He is very funny!  !).
According to me this film will be beautiful! I can't wait for a long time!!!

Welcome Silvia! I can beat Kate - I'm ALL Italian but all I know of the language is the bad words LOL. My maternal grandmother came to Ellis Island from
Sicily in 1918 and my paternal grandmother was born here, but her family was from Naples. My maternal grandmother spoke English with a heavy Italian accent.
Don't know too much about my grandfathers on both sides since they both died before I was born. My paternal side of the family all still lives in
Brooklyn, NY - a big Italian area!

I can somewhat understand the language because my school taught spanish which is similar. But yes, tis always the bad words ya know

Hey, I'm all Filipino...but I have been to Italy a number of times from the Northern Italian side of the Alps down to Naples and Capri...from Tuscany on
the west to Ravenna and Assisi on the east...and of course the Italian Riviera of Ventimiglia, Portofino and down to Genoa
Plus, sono una tifosa della Ferrari !! Does that count ?!!!
I was once invited to be 1 of 15 fans to the inauguration of the new racing car in Maranello ( out of 10,000 members of the official Ferrari site) ... but I didn't have enough time to get a visa

I have been to three Formula One Grand Prix races, but sadly never to Monza...although I once sat together with 3 Italian fans at the Monaco Grand Prix
Hey, could Hugh pass for an Italian? I think they made a mistake in casting Javier Bardem in the forthcoming movie musical of NINE and in not even considering triple-threat talent Hugh for the role of Guido Contini ( supposedly the alter ego of Federico Fellini), which is based on the Fellini movie "8 1/2". I saw the stage musical version with Antonio Banderas but the Spanish accent was too thick ( which was quite distracting) . Hugh is pretty good with accents. Especially of the Australian variety - LOL! I wonder how thick it will be in "AUSTRALIA"?

We're getting a little OT here but just a few comments - we're assuming Hugh will be using his natural Australia accent in this movie since he plays an Australian drover - I don't think there will be any American accents in the movie. As for "If You Could See Me Now" - there was a post on the IMDB message board - the project is no longer with Disney, it went into "turnaround" and now it will be SB Films doing it. Someone attached with the company posted on the IMDB message board and said this is no longer a musical, and Hugh's production company is no longer involved. He's still on the list to play Ivan, but it sounds like it's not guaranteed. So this may not happen for him - which is also true of the other projects you mention. But we have "Australia" to look forward to!!! |
