Hugh Jackman

WORKING on Australia was a "dream" for Jackman, who spent most of last year in Australia filming the big-budget movie.

"It's a dream doing this epic," he said.

"There's lots of horse riding and guys walking around cracking whips."

This year will also see the release of If You Could See Me Now, in which he plays an imaginary friend to a lonely boy.

He will also be busy working on X-Men spin-off Wolverine, scheduled for release next year.

There's Hugh being a guy with the horse riding and cracking whip's comment - can't imagine Nicole saying that LOL.

The blurb about If You Could See Me Now (the book was written by the same author that wrote P.S. I Love You - the daughter of Ireland's PM) is wrong - that was to be his first original movie musical with Disney in which he had a three movie musical deal, plus his production company was involved. But we've recently found out that the project went into turnaround, it's no longer a musical, Hugh's production company isn't involved anymore, and it's not clear if Hugh is even involved as star anymore. It's also not clear if he still has that three movie musical deal since Disney had some kind of upheaval recently. The movie hasn't even been filmed yet and who knows what the status is.

On closer look - Hugh is wearing a SUIT! Is this normal cricket wear LOL or is it because he was a VIP???

Hugh is going to appear on "Rove Live" on April 27 at 9:30 p.m. I assume he's there to promote his new movie DECEPTION co-starring Ewan McGregor and Michelle Williams which opens in Australia April 24 (US April 25), but you never know, I guess he could be asked about filming AUSTRALIA. So whoever can see this show, report back!

Hugh Jackman will guest on Rove in two weeks' time. The star will appear on a special Sydney edition of the show, tot be subtitled the 'Dance After Party.'

It will screen at 9:30pm on April 27 with the winner of SYTYCDA and Hamish and Andy.
