Based on a book by Houston Chronicle crime reporter Steve McVicker, the fact-based film casts Carrey as Steven Russell, a married father whose exploits landed him in the Texas criminal justice system.

He fell madly in love with his cellmate Phillip Morris (Ewan McGregor), who eventually was set free, which led Russell to escape from Texas prisons four times.

Well that sounds.....interesting? Admittedly, my first thought was "What the hell is wrong with Ewan's hair?" I haven't heard of a film with him in for ages though, so I'd gladly check it out.

I was gonna say, tsk tsk where have you been, but admittedly his last release, Deception, co-starring Hugh Jackman and produced by his company Seed was pretty much a flop.

Also as you might know Ewan's been bouncing about on the West End stage and running around on his motorbike.

Being the fag hag that I am this movie should be right up my alley, but can't say my hotness alert has been triggered from the above. LOL, hopefully their pathetically sad love will endear me to them

It looks to be very cheesy, which to be honest, I can be a complete sucker for, so I may well truly enjoy it. As said before, maybe not the most attractive of images for them, but I can live with that.
