Posts: 1733 11/07/05 00:04 Frank is living in my foot	Yes the moulin rouge fan in me went sqeee The concert was amazing...better than last time they were here like 3 1/2 years ago. the venue was way bigger cuz last time we saw them they were at the fair. But we were sooooo close and it was just so good. The guys put on an awesome show and are really funny. Jay(one on the right in the black t-shirt) had me cracking up so many times. And the stage was awesome...they popped up from under and everything and sigh just a really good concert. We took about 110 pictures throughout the whole concert.... ~Kris~

It was thrilling to think that one day MR might be as highly regarded as those other movies. "Moulin Rouge" (Baz Luhrmann): Many movies are bolstered by one lover who dies, leaving the other alone and doomed to a life of emptiness without that person who remains crystallized in the mind as the romantic ideal. "Wuthering Heights," "Betty Blue," "Camille," "Ghost." (Not all of them are very good.) As a device, it's a good one, and one of my favorites is Lurhmann's portrait of doomed ardor, which meshes lush, frenzied visuals - enhanced by Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor's matinee-idol good looks and likeability - with musical medleys that merge the likes of Elton John, David Bowie, Kurt Cobain, the Beatles and Fatboy Slim, a thrilling (or ludicrous, depending on who you ask) plot and the most traditional of purveyors of doom, tuberculosis.
